Using lowest quality settings at 1 FPS
Optimum range is 150 feet when signal is passing through walls or floors. Microwave ovens (when in use) may cause signal disruption at close range. Buildings with metal frames may also cause signal disruption. Maximum transmission range is 750ft.

I bought over a year ago. Have been dealing with my parents medical issues. Bought on eBay. One receiver for 2 of the 6 cameras did not work. Was a couple months past warranty. Called customer support. Daniela was great! She set me up to be covered under one time past warranty. Got receiver back in around 3 weeks and it works great. The system was easy to setup. Had to change wireless wifi to 5 instead of 2.4. I like the system so far. Haven't setup for my phone yet. Very special thanks to Daniela in customer support for all her help!!!

I ordered the Pro system 5/4/16. Synching cameras to system took 1hr. 2 cameras per router, thus 3 routers + cameras MUST be near an electric outlet. I think this is a great wireless system (didn't want to hire anyone to run wires). The image quality is good, DVR storage is great. Definitely recommend this for DIY person. Keep in mind, you may have to relocate the routers/dvr and cameras to achieve maximum signal. This is a great system and what I consider to be an affordable price.
home 4 Excellent choice in security system
I have had it about 6 months and had some problems setting it it myself to work online and on my phone. But after 15 minutes with tech support with Brian who was awesome I am good to go. The camera quality and picture quality is fine I do have some cameras that go off line and I have to reset them mostly during the day but seem to work best at night. Thanks Brian!!
micjeep 5 Worth the Money
I bought this system a few days ago after doing quite a bit of research on various brands and products. I was upgrading from an older wireless system and wanted to stay with a wireless system. This one is great and worth the money. I read the reviews posted by others and the theme I saw was about the documentation. While it could be a bit more "dummied down" that didn't bother me. The installation was easy and for the most part I didn't rely much on the documentation since I was familiar with my other system. One camera seemed to lose signal quite a bit so I went to Defender's support page and found that it could be a power issue. Sure enough, my power strip's design didn't lend itself to plugging in 3 camera adapters with good connections. Once I addressed that it resolved the issue. The clarity on the cameras is great and the night vision better than most others. I also wanted two monitors and this system allowed for VGA and HDMI connections. Using RCA connections for one of my monitors didn't work so well. The only thing that I would like to see is the camera mounts allow for ceilings instead of wall-only mounting. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with the system and think it's worth the money. I'd highly recommend it to others.

Diamondcutter 3 Image Quality
I bought this a month ago. I have been pleased overall except for picture quality. Daytime resolution is not very good, especially at a little distance. For example, grass just looks like a solid mass of green. The color is good but it lacks resolution. I have tried setting a higher resolution but it says my monitor does not support even though I an using a 20 in screen HD digital flat screen TV for a monitor. Have not yet contacted customer service but will soon. Hope they can help with the resolution settings and also help me get it online. I have DSL and have not been able to view it on line. I seriously think for $799, they should be able to provide better resolution cameras. My $50 quadcopter has better resolution! Fix that one problem and this will be a great system.
Rockman 5 Awesome System
Bought this online from Staples. Found it very easy to install and setup. Did download manual from defender site first tho and read through it. Took a bit to get the ClearVU app working on my Samsung S3, but it works. Great picture clarity. Easy to use menu. Others may not find it as easy, but I am very tech oriented. I have 2 other smaller Defender systems and upgraded to this one. Highly recommend Defender products. I find them better than other brands.. GREAT PRODUCT!!

The Sentinel Pro is an excellent system and very well made. All of the parts arrived that were supposed to come with the package. The picture clarity is excellent and I am still learning the many features of the DVR and retrieving information.
I did a lot of homework and I think I made the right choice. This is the best system for the money.
My only complaint would be that I believe there is a better way to get somebody set up. Installing the cameras was very easy not everything else was more difficult than I believe it needed to be. Also, there was no cord to connect the DVR to a TV monitor. The instructions said you needed a VGA type cord but my monitor did not have one. The instructions did not tell you that an HDMI cord would work just as well. I had to go out and buy one. No big deal but the instruction manuals should always be written by people who have actually installed the system. I was on the phone with them quite a bit and did a lot of live chat. All told, I probably spent several hours communicating with them. The staff is great! A better way, in my opinion, would be that once you buy the system, they set up a dedicated one hour time with a technician who is actually installed the system and get you set up. Everybody would save time.
The ipad installation of ClearVu took time but is excellent. One quirk is that you can only get the menu on the ipad by tilting the screen to vertical

I have had this system about three months now. I am only using two cameras at this time. My neighbor came over to say someone broke into there home and asked if we would check our system. I put the day and approximate time and sure enough it showed three individuals. They police came and viewed the system, the three young men were apprehend and charge with the break in. I will be installing the other four cameras very soon.

Mandalay Boy 5 User Friendly & Plug and Play
After my brothers have recommended me about the Defender wireless camera, I bought Sentinel PRO 6 wireless cameras - 8 CH 1TB DVR in Oct of 2015. The wireless cameras and receivers were very easy to setup. Five cameras were working properly as soon as the wires were connected. Unfortunately one of the camera has no picture. The customer support "Daniela" was very helpful and worked with me for the replacement. The replacement camera has arrived quickly. But, the camera was not able to pair with the receiver so I have returned 2 cameras with 1 receiver for the replacement. I have also talked to other customer support such as lla, Sarah, Kristi and Berenice, and they were very helpful and friendly. Finally I have received the replacement and they are working as soon as the wires are connected. I have also recommended to my brother in-law about how easy to use and excellent customer support so that he has bought the wireless camera based on my recommendation. Two thumbs up!!!

I bought this camera and I am very pleased with it, it does everything I need. All cameras are mounted on my house and I can see all the way around even at night. I love it. Very clear picture. Couldn't ask for more. Finding a plug in for each camera was a little tricky but after that hurdle it was a breeze to set up. Highly recommend this system.
